At a glittering gala dinner reception in St Albans cathedral last night, hosted by Hertfordshire Chamber of Commerce and attended by VIPs including the Lord Lieutenant of Hertfordshire, Mr Robert Voss CBE DL, Hillier Consulting client Ballinger Equine was awarded the prestigious Inspiring Hertfordshire Award for Most Promising New Business.

Hertfordshire’s ‘Most Promising New Business’

Being announced as the county’s Most Promising New Business is a triumph for practice founders Susanna Ballinger and Andrew Hillier who established Ballinger Equine in September 2017. Andrew Hillier is also Director at Hillier Consulting.

Katie Branley, Ballinger Equine’s practice manager said of the achievement: “We are a happy, committed, hard-working team and we’re thrilled our success has been recognised by the wider business community in Hertfordshire.”

Katie added: “We’re following the detailed business development strategy set by Andrew Hillier and are on track for even greater success to come.

“Clinical excellence, horse welfare and client service are at the heart of all we do, but behind the scenes, Andrew and I pay meticulous attention to data analytics, monitoring of key performance indicators and best-practice management.”

Andrew Hillier added: “Communications, engagement, media, branding and design are central to Ballinger Equine’s business development strategy. Nothing’s been watered down, no corners cut and no detail missed. It is rewarding to see that when done right, it all works as it should.”

Winning the Hertfordshire Chamber of Commerce Inspiring Hertfordshire Award for Most Promising New Business follows Ballinger Equine’s shortlisting as a finalist in Best New Business and Website of The Year in the Hertfordshire SME 2019 Business Awards.
