Major EACD networking event set to reenergise EACD Ireland chapter after COVID-19 hiatus.

EACD Ireland Chapter hosts a distinguished panel

The Ireland Chapter of the EACD tonight hosted its first, post-COVID in-person networking event. A capacity audience enjoyed an excellent presentation by Dr Kevin Hora, Assistant Head of School of Media (Head of  discipline, Journalism and Communications) TU Dublin, of the findings of the most recent European Communications Monitor research project. A lively debate followed. Also participating in the panel discussion were Nikki Gallagher, Head of Public Affairs, IBEC, Shane Kelly, Corporate Relations Director, Diageo and Orlaith Blaney, Director of Corporate Affairs, Irish Water. The evening was moderated by EACD Ireland Country Lead Martyn Rosney and Andrew Hillier welcomed the audience on behalf of the EACD Board.

Lively in-person evening networking after COVID-19

Everyone attending agreed that it was good to be back to meeting and networking with professional colleagues. The event was held at The Sky Suite, the Radisson Blu Royal Hotel on Golden Lane and all enjoyed a sumptuous hot and cold buffet.

Andrew Hillier, Managing Director of Ballinger Equine, and EACD Board Director said this evening: Dublin is renowned for its hospitality and this evening Martyn Rosney has shown us with some flair, just how deserved that reputation is. This has been an outstanding event with a superb panel, a fascinating presentation by Dr Hora and great craic! Congratulations Dublin.
