Hillier Consulting’s second special live event for Rossdales Hertfordshire is a huge success! An enthusiastic, maximum capacity audience braved the freezing weather for a night of science and equine health advice. Dubious equine health treatment claims were debunked with medical science.

A packed live event featuring science and equine health expertise

A big thank you to everybody who turned out on a freezing November evening (29 November 2016) to one of our biggest and best special evening events yet! Every single seat was taken as was all available standing room.

Hillier Consulting conceived, planned and managed the event as the second in its series of Rossdales Herts Live events. The evening was hosted by Susanna Ballinger BVSc MRCVS, managing partner and head veterinary surgeon at Rossdales Hertfordshire. Following an enthralling presentation on equine supplements focussing particularly on beneficial constituents and bioavailability, guest speakers Carolin Gerdes MRCVS, Susie Grady MSc BSc (Hons) HCSP and Emma Hedderson BSC MA VetMB MRCVS talked authoritatively about various complementary equine therapies.

New brochure, designed, written and produced by Hillier Consulting launched

All the speakers participated in a lively question and answer session at the end.

Everybody who attended the evening was given a special Rossdales Herts goodie bag. Launched at the event was Rossdales Hertfordshire’s new range of veterinary formulation grade equine supplements. To accompany the new range Hillier Consulting has written, designed and produced a new comprehensive colour brochure. The new brochure was available for the first time at last night’s event.

Refreshments for the evening were generously provided by Boehringer Ingleheim Ltd whose technical representative, Dr Sophie Ignarski BVetMed MRCVS, kindly assisted the Hillier Consulting / Rossdales Hertfordshire team on the night.

Always keen to lend support to a good cause we invited Suzanne Charlton, Riding for the Disabled Association’s Chairwoman for Hertfordshire County to join us. A raffle in support of the RDA was held and generous guests raised £500.00 for the charity.

Susanna Ballinger said after the event:

Our live events just get bigger and better. Thank you to all our fantastic guests and to my professional colleagues who together make the evenings so successful. A huge thank you too, to Hillier Consulting. The professionalism, attention to detail and event planning and management is outstanding.
