Hillier Consulting has designed a new set of coordinated uniforms for equine veterinary practice, Ballinger Equine. The workwear items have been carefully selected for cut and style as well as for functionality.

Rigorous testing for function and durability

Building upon its branding and design work for Ballinger Equine, Hillier Consulting launches a new complete, coordinated, 4-season uniform for Ballinger Equine’s clinical and administrative teams. The pieces making up the set have been selected and tested for functionality, particularly with regard to arm reach and movement, length in the back, breathability, water resistance, layering and articulation across the shoulders. Veterinary Director, Dr Susanna Ballinger MRCVS, tested all shortlisted items.

Dr Ballinger commented:

Too often equine veterinary surgeons, particularly those in ambulatory practice, are issued uniforms which, not to put too finer point on it, are cheap and nasty. Ill-fitting and unsuited to physical work in any season, the uniforms have typically been issued by somebody behind a desk with little thought to the vets who have to wear it year-round.

Stylish and practical year-round in all weathers

I am thrilled to say our new uniform collection is outstanding in terms of cut, style, weather resistance, the ability to layer up or down as needed, and the fitness of the fabrics and the designs to cope with the demands of working in-the-field, in all weathers, 24/7,365

All items are branded with the Ballinger Equine horse head logotype which is applied in white and silver-grey embroidery. The colourway echoes that as used for vehicle liveries and other outdoor Ballinger Equine veterinary practice applications. Instantly recognisable, even in dusk’s fading light, the brand clearly marks the individual as a Ballinger Equine veterinary surgeon at work.
